But it's hard to determine a single greatest Opera house when there are so many factors - ambiance, acoustics, aesthetics, etc. I'd have to point to perhaps the Teatro ala Scala in Milano, the Met Opera in New York City, or the Vienna State Opera House as contenders for the best.
