Maybe far away
Or maybe real nearby
He may be pouring her coffee
She may be straighting this tie!
Maybe in a house
All hidden by a hill
She's sitting playing piano,
He's sitting paying a bill!
Betcha they're young
Betcha they're smart
Bet they collect things
Like ashtrays, and art!
Betcha they're good --
(Why shouldn't they be?)
Their one mistake
Was giving up me!
So maybe now it's time,
And maybe when I wake
They'll be there calling me "Baby"...
Maybe.
Betcha he reads
Betcha she sews
Maybe she's made me
A closet of clothes!
Maybe they're strict
As straight as a line...
Don't really care
As long as they're mine!
So maybe now this prayer's
The last one of it's kind...
Won't you please come get your "Baby"
[ANNIE AND ORPHANS]
Maybe
The character Annie sings the song, but if you are talking about the actual person, it was Andrea McArdle, the original Annie.
This would be easier to answer if you posted an audio clip of the song. An orphan girl named Annie sings a song called "Maybe" in a Broadway musical, but that's the only singer that immediately comes to mind.
"All the odds are in my favor" is a line out of "Maybe This Time" from the musical Cabaret.
She doesn't sing in "maybe", I think. And on some websites it says she is the quietest, so she doesn't sing in a lot of the songs.
I am Pepper in my schools musical and I sing Hard Knock life, Maybe, Hard Knock reprise, Tomorrow reprise, and Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile. I believe that's it, its hard to remember since I play three roles.
amazon.com or maybe the theatres that perform it (like on Broadway, or the Kennedy Center)

Song lyrics are present across all musical genre, except maybe instrumental...

"Dorothy Fields wrote the lyrics, and Jimmy McHugh composed the music for the song "I Can't Give You Anything but Love." It was first featured in the 1928 Broadway musical "Blackbirds of 1928."

Well I saw 'My Fair Lady' in Vienna (in German!) and it was basically the same as West End or Broadway Theatre. Maybe a bit less dancing, but this could have been just to the nature of the show.
B Flat Major
I think maybe for kids, but not for adults.
There maybe a High School Musical 5.
