There are two kinds of music in lowlands in luzon. Devotional and Liturgical songs. These two songs are from The Bible, or in church.
This form of music has a sort of beat, even though it is hard to put it in a form of time signature. Percussions are mainly used for these type of music and sometimes, a gong is enough. As closeness to Nature is a main feature of these ethnic groups, one can expect that dance steps falling under this category are a mimicry of the movements of plants and animals of a certain locality. Some music is simply called the 'Monkey Dance' or the 'Robin Dance' for identification. Some of the music falling under this category is ritual music: thus there are dances used for marriage, worship, and even preparation for a war.

The highlands of Luzon refer to the mountainous regions in the northern part of the island, such as the Cordillera mountain range. The lowlands are the lower-lying areas, including the central plains and coastal areas of Luzon. Both the highlands and lowlands of Luzon have distinct ecosystems and play important roles in the island's geography and biodiversity.
Southern Uplands, Central Lowlands and Highlands
The Lowlands of Luzon refer to the low-lying areas of the island of Luzon in the Philippines. These areas are characterized by flat or gently rolling terrain and are often used for agriculture. The Lowlands of Luzon are home to numerous rice fields, farms, and urban areas.

The Central Lowlands lie between the Appalachians Highlands Great and the Plains.
Lowlands are typically flat or gently sloping areas at lower elevations, while highlands are elevated regions with varying topography, such as hills or mountains. Lowlands are often more suitable for agriculture and urban development, while highlands may have unique ecosystems and provide important habitats for wildlife.

Think about it. One lives (or comes from) the Highlands and the other lives (or comes from) the Lowlands.
It is colder in the highlands than the lowlands because the higher the elevation, the colder it becomes, and the lower the elevation, the hotter.
