'sapore di sale' by gino paoli

it's about a guy on a sicilian beach and he sees a girl swimming and pictures her laying next to him making out w/ him. and he says the taste of sea salt brings back memories of kissing the girl's lips which had salt on them from the water.

'la solitudine' by Laura pausini

about a girl who's boyfriend had to move away because his dad got a new job elsewhere and didn't care about how his son felt about it. she hopes he will still be thinking about her as they get older. she can't concentrate in school now that he doesn't ride the train with her to there and his desk is empty. she spends her afternoons looking at old pictures of him in her diary instead of doing her homework. she vows to him that she'll find him cause she doesn't want their story to end. starts off slow and get's fast. my favorite Italian song of 90's. this is the song that made Laura pausini famous and winning san remo, similar to how Kelly Clarkson won American Idol w/ 'a moment like this'

'strani amori' by same artist

a story about a teenage couple. they love each other but yet they fight constantly and are in jepardy of losing each other. later the girl realizes the guy is a scum bag that doesn't pay any attention to her and is never there for her and is just a no-good player so in the end she says she rather just be alone.

'incancellabile' same artist

about an ex-girlfriend who misses her boyfriend. she says he is an entity that will never leave her, like a tattoo on her skin. he has a permanent presence on her and she'll never forget him. she sees him in the eyes of her next love interest and the more she misses him the more she obsesses.

'non me lo so spiegare' by tiziano ferro

a guy breaks up with his girlfriend. everything around his house reminds him of her and he gets paranoid. so he steps out for fresh air. but misses her touch. his car reminds him of all the stuff he did with her in it and wishes he would have been a better boyfriend and treated her better and all his thoughts are just too much to explain.

A song called "Non-credere" sang by Mina on Italian television in 1969. Beautiful!
