I would say they have probably been taken over by the dark monster that is the world of drugs. Having lost their fame and fortune of the pristine show zaboomafoo, they resort to cheap coke and weak meth as passtimes. In a world which is dealing with an economic crisis and severe climate problems, the Kratt brothers must first focus on dealing with their own woes with substance abuse. It's a sad story, but it's less than the truth.
