The backing singers used on the single and album sessions where known as "Thunder Thighs" they where a trio who had sung backing vocals on Lou Reed's Transformer album as well as other artists works. The line up was Karen Friedman, Dari Lalou ,and Casey Synge. They released singles in their own right the biggest one being "Central Park Arrest" that made the top 30 in the UK in June 74.
