Airships today are used for advertising and carrying TV cameras to film large special events like auto races.
Most of their hits were late 1969-1975
Zeppelins primarily used hydrogen as their lifting gas, which provided buoyancy due to its lighter-than-air properties. However, hydrogen is highly flammable, leading to safety concerns. In some later models, helium was used as a safer alternative due to its non-flammable nature. The propulsion systems of Zeppelins typically relied on internal combustion engines running on various fuels, including gasoline or diesel.
A Zeppelin, or rigid airship works by using a large volume of gas that is lighter than air to help lift it off the ground. Just like a helium party balloon, Zeppelins were filled with hydrogen or helium and this would compensate for almost all of their weight. Zeppelins could lift many tons at a time when airplanes could barely lift themselves. Zeppelins formed the first airline (DELAG) in Germany and transported thousands of people. Zeppelins were different than blimps. They had rigid metal or wood frames inside that allowed large engines and passenger compartments to be outfitted. They didn't just have a tiny gondola underneath,m but had a great deal of living space inside the actual cigar shape. Zeppelins worked very well, and were considered very reliable. The problem was that the best airships (Zeppelins) were made in pre-WW2 Germany. They were filled with hydrogen, which is very flammable. Germany wanted to use helium (non-flammable), but the USA has a virtual monopoly on Helium production at that time, and it was considered a precious commodity that might be misused by Hitler in the event of a war. The eruption of the Hindenburg in Lakehurst New Jersey spelled the end for Zeppelins. People thought they were dangerous. In reality, had helium been used instead of hydrogen, we might still be using them today.
The main singer of led zepplin is Robert Plant
Their last studio album was "In Through The Out Door"; their last album was Coda.
what are zeppelins used for
Zeppelins used hydrogen gas as the lifting gas to make them buoyant in the air.
Germany.
WWI
Zeppelins have not been used for military purposes since the First World War; that is more than 90 years.

The Germans used zeppellins in the First World War.
how big is a zeppelins
Are now known as blimps, they are more used for advertising purposes.
July 2, 1900 was when Zeppelins were made.
Yes, Germany used both (at least in World War 1 - zeppelins were phased out of military use before World War 2).
The World War I zeppelins were large blimps used to gain information from over enemy lines, but were slow and easy targets for artillery guns.
