Brad Walst's son James was diagnosed with neuroblastoma when he was about two years old.

James underwent a ten hour surgery to remove a large tumor that had surrounded his spinal cord and grown into his chest.

Eight months later, they had discovered that the tumor had grown back and since it didn't respond to chemotherapy, James underwent another ten hour surgery to remove as much of the disease as possible.

Even though there is still a small tumor in James' back there has been no change in its size in over a year.

According to his father Brad Walst, "James is a happy and very active four year old who never ceases to amaze people, both with his strength and his bravery."
