The Knack, Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Prince. Plus, most of the bands from England who wore matching suits, Paul Revere and the Raiders.
Well, there's Oasis and Panic at the disco. . . there's too many and i can't remember em all
"Different schools of 'Son of Beatles' exist continually." - John Lennon, 1980
Electric Light Orchestra, Klaatu, The Bangles, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Wings, and (God help me)... Oasis, among many others. (I do not consider Oasis a "good band". I consider them a shameless ripoff.)
Well, if you like good music, which if you like the Beatles you have a 50% chance that you do, then you'll probably like other good music as well, such as The Rolling Stones, Yes, Rush, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Aerosmith, and amazing artists such as that.
Oasis...? The Bangles...? Really?
There were The Rolling Stones, The Beach Boys, The Who, The Animals, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Fleetwood Mac, The Mamas and the Papas, Cream, Pink Floyd, The Bee Gees, The Supremes, Aretha Franklin, and The Monkees. I could go on, but those are the main ones.
Every band that plays music. The Beatles are the frame of every genre of music that came after. Without the Beatles there just simply nothing.

the guy who wrote the stuff above knows NOTHING.
There was plenty of music before The Beatles, music did after all come from Africa. However through the civil war there was an integration of black and white music (there were signs of this happening before hand) Like in church, black people sang spiritual ( European church songs such as Swing low, sweet chariot were sung by black people, of course they adapted it to their style *blues scale*) but the also sang gospel which was Negro songs sang by black people. THIS is what 'framed' every genre.so YES there would have been music is the Beatles weren't around.
ANYWAY now that this nitwit has been proved wrong, here is a *safe* link to a website that shows you all the people who were influenced.
Pretty Cool.

I would say it's safe to say nearly everyone. If a band you listen to didn't directly listen to the Beatles, they were inspired by someone who did listen to the Beatles.
Some bands that were influenced by the Beatles were Oasis, Julian Lennon (John Lennon's son), ELO (Electric Light Orchestra), Bad Finger, and etc.
Nowadays One Direction are commonly compared to the Beatles
They were divinely inspired.
No, LMFAO are not influenced or inspired by the beatles, they are inspired by rappers and pop stars (they told the press this in 2009)
The Beatles never did Satisfaction.
The Beatles was inspired a lot by Oasis.
They are definitely inspired by The Beatles' sound on some pop tunes like "Beetlebum".
Mostly older rock bands. Their lead singer Adam Gontier stated that he was inspired by bands like Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, and Pearl Jam. The other band members have stated that they were inspired by the same bands as Adam, including other bands. Such as neil Young and Soundgarden.
The Beatles had been influenced and inspired by the Everly brothers, Little Richard and others. How inspiration works is both to simple and to complicated for this medium.
They evolved music by using different types of music and instruments in their songs which inspired many bands and artists after them.
YES! They still ARE important! The Beatles are one of the most famous bands EVER! AND they influence a lot of bands today. With out the Beatles, music wouldn't be what it is.
Paul McCartney is best known for his work with two bands: The Beatles and later Wings. However, earlier in his life he was in bands that preceded The Beatles. These bands were The Quarrymen, Johnny and the Moondogs, The Rainbows and the Silver Beatles.
