All of the 4 Lennon Sisters are alive and well. DeeDee and Peggy have retired from entertaining except for special ocassions. Kathy and Janet have been joined by a younger sister, Mimi, and have been performing in Branson, MO. They are currently performing at various places around the country. Kathy and Janet have started a new company called Best Pals where they have reproduced their childhood rag dolls that their mother and grandmother made them. They also have other dolls and merchandise. Check out their Lennon Sisters and Best Pals websites.

John Lennon had three half-sisters, all the daughters of his mother Julia (née Stanley) Lennon.

The eldest of Lennon's sisters was born Victoria Elizabeth, the daughter of Julia and a Welsh soldier, "Taffy" Williams. After her birth she was given up for adoption to a Norwegian Salvation Army Captain and his wife, Peder and Margaret Pedersen, who renamed her Ingrid Marie Pedersen. There has never been any proof whether John had ever met Ingrid, or that he even knew about her existence.

The next of Lennon's sisters, Julia (née Dykins) Baird, was the eldest daughter of Julia and John "Bobby" Dykins. Julia became a special needs teacher, and has written two books about her life as John Lennon's sister, "John Lennon, my brother" and "Imagine This: Growing up with my brother John Lennon", the latter of which served as the basis for the film "Nowhere Boy". Julia was married to Allen Baird, and the couple had three children before divorcing.

Lennon's youngest sister, Jacqueline "Jackie" Dykins, was also Julia's daughter with Dykins. She worked as a shop assistant in the 1970s, but battled against a heroin addiction. In the 80s, fully recovered, Jackie had a son whom she named John, and worked as a hairdresser.

Both Julia and Jackie have stated that they wish Lennon had never seen a guitar.

The three girls had never met one another until a ceremony was held to put a Blue Heritage plaque on the home of their Aunt Mimi.
