nothing else will work in experience, I mean I looked around the house looking for ideas what to work for the thinnest string (high E) and nothing works.
best advice go with a very heavy set it may take some time to get used to but heavy means thick strings, they dont break as fast and are the same price usually.

∙ 13y agoelectric strings, bass strings if its the low E and you play heavy gauge strings. I wouldn't try anything else really since most strings only cost 5-7$ canadian.
