"I Am the City" was a track recorded in 1982, intended for a ninth ABBA studio album that was never finished. The track was first released on the album "More Abba Gold" in 1993. It's not clear that lyricist Bjorn Ulvaeus was writing about any city in particular, though the band always closely identified with their home town, Stockholm. But no doubt Bjorn was also inspired by the many world cities the band visited during their 11 years performing together. And we know he had a fondness for London, since he ended up living there for many years.
