Some members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) enjoy Rock Music, and others do not. It is all just about their personal preference. Some Mormons are members of popular rock bands, such as Brandon Flowers of The Killers, Dallon Weekes of The Brobecks and Panic! at the Disco, and the members of Neon Trees.

A pamphlet published by the Mormon church called "For the Strength of Youth" outlines standards expected of all Mormons. It says this about music: "Do not listen to music that encourages immorality or glorifies violence through its lyrics, beat, or intensity. Do not listen to music that uses vulgar or offensive language or promotes evil practices." It is pretty safe to say that most Mormons enjoy at least some types of rock music and listen to it on a regular basis. The Mormon church even owns some Adult Contemporary and Classic Rock radio stations around the United States.
