They eat take-out food because it is more delicious than cabbage and bread. It also doesn't cost too much. Unfortunately, cabbage soup and bread would be the better choice along with a can of sardines and an apple or orange nutrition-wise but alas, people always go for taste if they can afford it even if it is loaded with salt and chemicals. Believe me, I know, for I was once poor. Now, with no money problems, I am happy to indulge in cabbage soups, whole grain breads with seeds, cans of sardines by the tonne-ful and fruits.
