What do you do if the low tire pressure reset option does not appear on the radio menu of a 2002 Monte Carlo?

I too would like to know the answer as my 2001 Chevy Impala done the same thing. Tire pressure monitor will not reset through the radio menu. ____

My 02 was doing the same thing. No option in the radio menu. I ended up having to disco the battery for a few seconds to reset the memory. Worked like a charm!

It should automatically turn off, but you can try disconnecting the battery for 30 mins. (take the positive off FIRST!) Then see if the light comes back on.

Update: Actually, on the 2001 model (and probably others) the light does not automatically reset. I used the RDS radio on my 2001 SS, but all models can use the Exterior Lamp Switch.

1) Turn ignition switch to the ON position

2) Cycle the exterior lamp switch from OFF to parking lamp 3 times within 5 seconds

Note: Recalibration takes 30 minutes of straight line driving in the speed ranges of 15-40, 40-70, and 70-90 mph. These do not have to be completed at one time.
