See what GCSE's do I need to be a radio presenter. www.joepatricks.com
i dont think that you would need gcse's to be a radio presenter because you can learn everything from hand youve just got to have a nice personality a friendly vioce.
Qualifications are irrelevant to become a Radio Presenter. Did I spell that right??? ;-) You have to have determination and experience say in hospital Radio, Community Radio, Top Shop Radio anywhere you are in some real environment where you would be broadcasting.
Practice, Practice ,Practice even at home doing your own dummy radio shows with a few sensible links, ie link as in something to say briefly which adds to the presentation of your show.
Sending a CV of a media degree does not help unless there is an accompanying tape oh sorry cd or Mp3 file which a Programme Director can listen to, I'm getting old and technology is more forward these days.
Offer to answer phones make tea, see how it works in a live broadcasting environment.
Now althoughnot havingqualifications matter you have to have some standard of intelligence. Spelling would be good for CV and a nice voice, personality and getting along with people.
To be a radio host having a degree from a reputable college is key. You will need to study and earn a degree in communications. It is also a good idea to get involved in the campus radio station as well.
you have to be fluent with your mother tongue as well as English, you have to be spontaneous and fun.
Sell your soul to the corporate devil
