No. The point to school is education, with socialization a distant second. WELL I WOULD SAY BOTH. BECAUSE, FIRST OF ALL, NO. BECAUSE, IT CAN DISTRACT CLASSMATES AND TEACHERS. YES. BECAUSE, YOU MIGHT BE BORED AND WOULD FEL LIKE YOU DON'T WANT TO LEARN THAT UBJECT IN THAT CLASS..... Okay i believe that you should be able to have cell phones during school, just leave them off during class. You should be able to have them out during lunch and between classes though. I just got my phone taken away last week because i had it out at lunch, and i believe it is very unfair because lunch is your break, and it doesnt disrupt with your learning..
high schools should not ban cell phones because then the children would not be able to communicate with their parents
they shouldn't be turned on in class but you can have them in your locker or in your book bag so after school you can talk. that is what we do in our school.
Yes, the cell phones are free when presented by the carriers as free. Sometimes you are required to mail in a rebate which makes it not free immediately. The reason free cell phones are offered is to get you to sign up for a contract of cellular services which is profitable to a company (carrier) and gives them an average customer retention of usually 2 years minimally.
yes. yes because there could be certain emergencies that they could use their cell phones for. ____ Alternatively, I think it would be reasonable to allow the cell phones, but require them to have the ringer turned off, so that they don't disrupt classes. It might even be okay to require them to be turned off, because the school does have a phone number and a way for parents to contact students in an emergency, and most cell phone use in school is not a legitimate emergency. Students could turn the phones on if there were a legitimate emergency. No, because it will distract them from their work. Besides, if they get in an accident and are badly hurt, they wouldn't be able to call you.
Yes except the words should begin with capital letters since it is a name.___With abstractions it is generally School of ... rather than School for ... However, one would say School forthe Blind (no abstraction here).
