It seems to me he says "He's Brian May, alright"
Brian May--lead guitar Freddie Mercury--vocals/piano Roger Taylor--drums John Deacon--bass guitar
There was no singer before Freddie Mercury; upon the formation of the band, Freddie was enlisted as lead singer and the name "Queen" was not created until a debate between Freddie and guitarist Brian May occurred in 1971. ' May and drummer Roger Taylor were formerly in a band named Smile, with Tim Staffel as lead singer.
The original Queen members were Freddie Mercury (leads vocal, pianist), Brian May (lead guitar, vocal), John Deacon (bass guitar), and Roger Taylor (drums, vocal). Hope this helps.
There where 4 band members to Queen Freddie Mercury (vocals + piano) Roger Talor (Drums) John Decon (Bass Guitar) Brian May (Lead Guitar)
I think it was Roger Taylor ----- That's right, it was Roger Meddows-Taylor. Yes,Roger Taylor was definatley playedthe drums and I'm 100% sure of that and as a matter of fact I am a very big fan of him.Roger Taylor was also in a band called the "Smile" and I think Brian May was in it with Roger too.

The lead singer was Freddie Mercury, the drummer was Roger Meddows-Taylor, the guitarist was Brian May, and the bassist was John Deacon. They were the best band I have come across. The lead singer died and there was a big tribute concert.
