In some notation, this usually indicates a slured articulation or a legato feel when placed over a grouping of notes.
Usually at the ending of a piece, a "ritardando" tells the player to slow down. It's the Italian word for "late" - the composer literally wants the musician to play "late" for each beat.
A single line of music, a tune.
Do you mean monophonic music? that would be music with a single melodic line (that is, no harmony, counter melody etc.)
Think of a phrase in music as a sentence. You want it to flow together, fit like a puzzle. If you're playing a wind instrument, you don't want to breathe in the middle of a phrase unless there's a rest. Often phrases are marked by a long curved line (like a slur) or by breath marks which look like this: (')
A double bar-line indicates the end of a section. When the second line is thicker than the first, it indicates the end of the piece.
Any line divides the Cartesian plane into two parts. When deciding whether the line should be solid or dashed, think of the points on the line. If these points are not in the permitted region then it will be a dashed line, otherwise it will be a solid line. Usually this will mean that a strict inequality is dashed.

When there is a curved line going upwards on a graph it means the distance is increasing
A dashed line represents a hydrogen bond because they are the weakest of the bonds.
................................... Dotted lines: a series of dots. "Sign on the dotted line." An expression meaning sign where indicated. it can also mean like this: ------------------------------------- but that would usually be called a dashed line
The curved line over a short vowel is called a breve. It is used to indicate a short pronunciation of the vowel.
it means to rush
A single line of music, a tune.
I may be outdated, but when I was in school we called that a line segment. I am assuming u mean a straight line. If it is a circle or other curved line, it is called an arc.
Many sets of data do not form into straight lines. If by "What if" you mean how to plot a line onto this graph. Then simply draw a curved line of best fit.
It means that the bond is pointing below the plane.
