What does it mean if you don't want to get married or don't want kids?

It doesn't mean anything. I've been with my boyfriend for 5 and half years and we're still not married and we still don't have children. I don't want to get married because it doesn't change anything. It's just a contract that we sign. We've been living under the same roof for 5 years. At the sight of the other people we pass on as a married couple so what's the difference wether we get married or not? We don't want children because they're a lot of responsabilities. A child is a person. It cost money to raise them. Diapers, formulas, bottles, clothes, toys, a carriage, a carseat, a crib and whatever else the baby needs, it would cost a lot of money and we can't afford it. Plus I wouldn't be able to go out whenever I want. It would take my freedom away.
