Though I am not a college trained theology expert, I think I understand a possible meaning. Jesus is the star. Prior to this time, he had times of great popularity with many people (the star that lately shone, for example at the "triumphal entry"). Now he is near to the time of being crucified and is praying "if it is possible, let this cup pass". Even his disciples aren't staying awake and praying with him. He feels dimmed.
The carol While Shepherds Watched: While shepherds watched
 Their flocks by night
 All seated on the ground
The angel of the Lord came down
And glory shone around
 And glory shone around
Oh, what a joy it is to talk about the lovely Aretha Franklin. She was a soulful, powerful, and iconic singer whose voice could move mountains. Her talent and passion shone brightly through every note she sang.
I don't believe he takes the Bible literally ~ perhaps more metaphorically. You can kind of hear that in certain songs, like at the end of Toxicity: "When I became the SUN (the literal interpretation is SON) I shone life into the man's heart". It is very obvious that he (and/or the band) is not too keen on the hijacking of the monotheistic religions via Globalism (aka, the War Machine).
it will look black because the red object only reflects red light and so when green is shone on it cant reflect any so it appears black.
Frank Sinatra had a deep affinity for performing in Las Vegas, where he became a legendary figure. The city’s vibrant nightlife and glamorous atmosphere suited his style, and he frequently headlined at iconic venues like the Sands Hotel and Casino. Sinatra also cherished the intimate connection he could establish with audiences in smaller venues, such as nightclubs and theaters, where his charisma and vocal prowess truly shone.
The song is about Jesus' last night before being captures and crucified. He spent this night in the garden of Garden of Gethsemane which lies at the foot of the Mount of Olives, a mountain ridge to the east of Jerusalem, named for the olive groves on its slopes.thus the song:'Tis midnight; and on Olive's browThe star is dimmed that lately shone:'Tis midnight; in the garden nowThe suffering Saviour prays alone.Translated means:It is midnight and on the brow of the hill which forms the mount of OlivesThe savior who was recently welcomed into Jerusalem as a star is now alone and unwelcomeIt is midnight and in the garden of GethsemaneJesus prays alone (all his friends have fallen asleep even though he asked them to stay awake with him).I hope this helps :-)
