All depends on what you're going for. If it were me, I'd get my hands on some sort of vintage 70s head or something, because Peavey cabs are quality. I do not recommend modern Peavey heads though, they've been declining in recent years. With bass heads, if it's not Ampeg or Hartke, you should probably go older. Also, this is opinion. I play in a hard rock band, this would be ideal for me.

No they don't , i use a markbass head and a peavey 4x10 cab
