He used Supro, Marshall, Hiwatts, and Vox amps. Supro 1640T modified for a single 12" speaker for all of ZEP 1. Marshall's live and on the rest of the Zep albums. Vox's were used for the Yardbirds recordings for a while. Hiwatt's were used for live from '68-'71 and in the studio a lot. Not forgetting the custom built Orange- Matamp amp, made by the late but great Mat Mathias, founder of Matamp and now owned and run by Jef Lewis.
