My Father has a archtop vintage guitar with a crown logo on the head, under the crown is the word REX, It is a beautiful guitar and has mother of pearl inlay in the neck, always is in tune no matter how long you leave it idle. I would love to know what it is worth. I think it was made in the 1930's.
It is a custom bass made by Chip Ellis of the Fender Custom Shop. He is the same person who made the limited edition remake of the frankenstein guitar for Eddie. If you look at some of the pictures you will see the headstock branded with the EVH Wolfgang logo. EVH is not making it as a production model at this time.

It's very hard to tell in the video, and it looks like they blacked out the logo on the headstock for probably legal reasons. The Jonas Brothers were sponsored by Gibson at the time, and the guitar looks like a Gibson small body L series, maybe a Blues King which has a shallower body. See the related link for the Gibby small bodies web page to compare guitars.
