In Rome, Kurt Cobain tried to kill himself by overdosing on Rohypnol, a drug that Courtney Love had apparently carried with her that night in her hotel for some drug-related purpose.Kurt swallowed dozens of pills and was found unconscious and taken to get his stomach pumped. Days later he woke up from his coma, miraculously without any major brain damage, and said he wanted a milkshake. (All this information is taken from the "Heavier than Heaven" biography).
