What happened to the band Rush?

Yes. In 2013, Rush absolutely continues to perform. They were inducted (finally) into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April 2013, and have performed in a number of cities before and since. While they are getting older (and have been entertaining fans for nearly four decades), there is no reason to think they will stop touring in the near future; they enjoy creating new music, and they enjoy performing for their fans.

Since this question was first ask, a lot has happened. Rush got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2010. They continued to tour, continued to record new music, and in late 2012, it was announced that they were finally going to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. That happened for them in April 2013, in Los Angeles. Currently, as I write this in 2014, they have just returned from another long concert tour in support of their Clockwork Angels CD.
