Paul tried his best to try to keep them going ( That's why they had their last performance on the top of Apple Headquarters , he thought that getting all of them back together would re-create the spark that sadly had leftt . ) But all of his efforts whern't enough and they broke up in 1979 , but they all stayed close friends .
