If it was out of state I wouldn't worry about it. If it's in your home state the DMV will take the steps to suspend your drivers license until you pay the ticket and the revocation fee. Most DMV's will be able to tell you where you need to send the money for the violations. The information should be on the back of the ticket you were givin by the cop.
A Virgina speeding ticket does transfer to your North Carolina driving record and may result in an insurance increase or suspension of your North Carolina license. If the speeding ticket is in excess of 15mph over the speed limit, it is an automatic suspension of your license. Normally, it is a good idea to contest every speeding ticket or at least be absolutely sure you know the consequences.
That depends on the exact violation and also on the court. The only way to know for sure is to contact the clerk of court. Virgina does report speeding tickets to your home state so you need to know how it will effect your license and insurance before you just pay your Virgina speeding ticket. Often a Virgina traffic attorney can get it reduced and save you money. See the link below for a full discussion on VA speeding tickets and where you can look up your ticket online.
Not usually, unless perhaps you were on probation for some type of traffic related offense - OR - there were some other charges associated with the speeding ticket (e.g.: Fleeing to Elude - DUI - etc).
The fact that a driver gets a speeding ticket has nothing to do with the owner of the car(unless it's the speeders.) The vehicle owner's insurance company will never know about the ticket, but your's will (or your parents) if you're a minor and insured under your parent's insurance. However, if there's a reportable accident involved with the speeding ticket, then the owner of the vehicle,(I'm speaking only for New York State, not sure about others), will be considered responsible for the accident, since the insurance company will now know, but the speeding goes with the driver.
i dont know how much the ticket is or if it is a point but the way you might be able to erase it if u do get a point is going to traffic school. a friend of mine has had 5 tickets in the last year and he has done that every time and not a single point on his record
how don't you know what country you were speeding in?
It depends on the jurisdiction and the circumstances. In many places, a speeding ticket is not considered a misdemeanor but rather a traffic infraction. However, repeated violations or excessive speeding could potentially result in misdemeanor charges.
Conrtact your Insurance Agent. He can let you know what points will be assesed based on the type of ticket and the circumstances under which you were speeding.
fast enough to get a speeding ticket, it 's a 140 Mph car. Just got a speeding ticket for 155 Mph, I really could not say I didn't know I was speeding.....hope that answers your question

In Canada it is 3 years
Attend at a Service Ontario kiosk and obtain a "Driver's Abstract."
In all the states I know of, the speeding ticket is forgiven after you pay the fine (you are square with the law) but the points on your license stay there until they expire (usually two years, but check for your own state).
