You should be compensated by the agency or city which made that error. They'll usually make a compensation offer, which you can either accept, or refuse and choose instead to file a lawsuit.
If you are charged with a hit and run, you will lost your license and have it suspended. There will be other consequences as well such as jail and fines.
A $720 fine in Oregon. Other states would have similar fines.
You don't drive for 3 months and probably have to go to the DMV to get the license back.
I take it your license has been suspended in Florida. I would say if you had your license suspened for what ever reason, even if you could get one in LA, it's only a matter of time before it happens again.
It may largely depend upon whether you pay the Delaware ticket. If you don't pay such ticket, information will be sent to the state in which you have a drivers license, which will cause that state to suspend your license until the Delaware license is taken care of.
3 according to traffic school info.
I don't think that NJ can take any points off your licence so they can't suspend your licence all they can do is suspend your rights to drive in NJ.
It is possible with some states, but not with every state. If you have a CDL (Commercial Drivers License) which gets suspended in one state, there is no state or territory of the US in which you'll be able to get licensed in while your license is suspended. Also note that the state which suspends your license also suspends your driving privileges in that state, so, if you did obtain a license from out of state, and were pulled over in the state where your license was suspended, it would still be treated as if you were driving on a suspended license.
If you get your license, you are still going to have to go to court. The court hearing is for when you did not have your license.
I don't believe the DMV suspends license, A police officer gives you a ticket, your go to court, and the judge will suspend your license for a time or forever, or put you in driving school. Of course if you can convince the officer that you just left them at home, he/she might let you off with a warning. Good Luck!
they will just invalidate your license then you will get pulled over later and get in trouble for not having any license!!!
Michigan... once you've met the conditions for reinstatement of your license. First off, states have an information sharing apparatus by which you'll be a license in other states if you have an ongoing suspension in any other state. Secondly, you have to be a resident of a state in order to even be eligible to receive a license there. Thirdly, even if you did somehow manage to slip through the cracks, you still wouldn't be able to drive in Michigan - when a state suspends your license, they also suspend your driving privilege in that state, meaning you can't drive in that state on ANY license.
If you are carrying a gun and your license to do so is not in order, you will be arrested.
I had this happen to me- After 9/11 all the DMV's are linked. I had to clear about my lic. in NY before I could get a lic. in MN. And the insurance companies can pull up a complete driving record, but I don't know if that will effect your rate.
You would have to meet the criteria for reinstatement of your Indiana license, including any reinstatement fees, before you'd be eligible to have a license again. It may be possible that you could slip through the cracks and get a license in Kentucky if there's been any length of time since the suspension went into effect - however, if you were caught driving in Indiana while the suspension on your Indiana license is still active, it would be treated as you driving on a suspended license. This is because when a state suspends your license, they also suspend your driving privilege in that state, meaning you're prohibited from driving in that state on ANY license.
They're all separate from each other, but they all share information with each other. So, if you have a suspended license, they're going to see that, not to mention you have to be a resident of the state you're trying to get a license in, and also that, when a state suspends your license, they also suspend your driving privilege in that state, as well, so you can't drive in that state on any license until that gets reinstated.
your mom happens.
