Michael Wolff is a jazz pianist-composer-bandleader and music producer who worked with musicians, such as: the Thad Jones/ Mel Lewis Orchestra, Jean Loc. Ponty, Warren Zevon, B.B. King, Christian McBride, Bobby McFerrin, Nancy Wilson, Frank Sinatra, Cannonball Adderelly, Sonny Rollins and Cal Tjader. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and raised in Memphis, Tennessee and Berkeley, California. He is best-known for his role as the bandleader/musical director of "The Arsenio Hall Show," from 1989-94. His wife, actress Polly Draper (who was the star of "thirysomething" and whom he met on "The Arsneio Hall Show") wrote the film, "The Tic Code" who she starred in with actor/entertainer, Gregory Hines. Wolff contributed the music score and was part based on his love for the jazz piano and his struggles with his mild case of Tourette syndrome. Both, Draper and Wolff co-produced the film. Recently Wolff, is the co-executive producer and music supervisor/producer; while Polly Draper is the creator, executive producer, frequent writer and director of the hit Nickelodeon, part documentary and part rock-mockumentary musical comedy series, "The Naked Brothers Band," based on their sons: Nat and Alex Wolff who formed a band with their best friends from pre-school. Wolff also stars as the boys' dorky accordion playing TV father. Mr. Wolff and his band, "Impure Thoughts" currently tours worldwide around the Untied States.
