The song Decode is from the motion picture "Twilight" and is based on how Bella is feeling after falling in love with Edward Cullen who is a vampire, and how she feels their love will not work and she feels stupid because how can a human fall in love with a vampire? Bella feels like a fool but she is willing to take the risk and allow their love to grow, and as it it says in the song "it might kill me, but I want it to be true".

∙ 12y agoreally the song actually is about Bella and yes how edward cannot read her mind, but its more than jst that or about how hes vampire and shes human..
its basically about the tension and confusion between the 2 because how they are so different and completely opposites but they are putting the simple facts aside because of the curiousity and invisible love (in the beginning) draws them to each other..
'the it might kill me, i want it to be true' is saying she doesnt care hes a vampire, and she wants wat she feels for him to be true.. because her being around him so often is dangerous bcus of how much he likes her blood...because bfor that line.. she says 'there is somthing i see in you' what she sees in him is the yern for her blood!
which brings me to the line 'the truth is hiding in your eyes, yet its hanging on your tongue, jst boiling in my blood' yeah almost self explainitory, when they first met..she noticed how dark n cold his eyes were, but a week later thay were warm and honey like...'hanging on your tongue, jst boilin in my blood' saying what he is boils in her blood bcus of how bad he wants it, hanging on his tongue is like an ironic figure of speech saying the urge to drain her is at the tip of his tongue.. and the rest of the song will come together. but that's basically it

∙ 12y agoTwilight. The people who made ( are making ) the Twilight movies asked Paramore to record it for them! The song was featured on the soundtrack from the first movie. :)
They also recorded another song for Twilight, I Caught Myself.
