Norwegian Wood tells a story from a man who gets invited into a girls apartment. When she invites him into her room he believes he is going to get lucky. They talk for a while and she says she has to work in the morning (therefore no sex.) He ends up sleeping in the bathroom, and in the morning she is gone. He is mad because she didn't have sex with him, so he sets her apartment on fire.
Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown) is a song by The Beatles which is credited to Lennon/McCartney. Nevertheless, it was written primarily by John Lennon, with Paul McCartney contributing to the middle eight section.
Tomorrow never knows (PROBABLY)Norwegian Wood MP
Two: Back in the USSR and Norwegian Wood
Since John Lennon (the song's author) did not write out his songs in musical notes, it has to be inferred from the song itself. It is unquestionably in a 3-beat structure, and could be written out in either 3/4 time or 6/8 time (I would choose the latter, were I doing it).
It was the first pop song to feature the sitar.
Rubber Soul

One that comes to mind is 'Within you and without you", maybe a few others; George took lessons from Ravi Shankar so there are probably more...The first sitar appearance in a song recorded by the Beatles was in "Norwegian Wood" on Rubber Soul. This was before George had any formal sitar instruction and had just picked one up after hearing it used by a few other bands like The Kinks and The Yardbirds.
