depends what you're looking for. A cheap Yamaha (absolute beginer) can be about 150$, a decent squier pack for a jazz or P-bass is about 300$. after that, it can go from 310$-6000$, so again, depends what you're looking for. good brands to check out (may be VERY expensive)
