An Urban Legend, an Urban Myth or an Urban Tale are spooky stories often believed by their tellers to be true. They often have a story behind them, such as The Hook, The story behind that is bad girls and boys are punished. This is the story I've seen, but there is probably a more scary, more believable version out there somewhere.
A young couple around 17 years old parked their car on Lover's Lane, down by a forest. They started stripping each other and kissing, Until they were interrupted by a news reader through the radio. The woman was saying "There has been a murderer let loose near Lover's Lane and anybody who spots him must report him to the police instantly. He has a hook for a right hand and an agonising scar down his left cheek" The girl immediately got her clothes back on a demanded to be taken back home. The boy locked all the doors and windows and said they would be fine, so they started again. The news reader then started talking again. "The murderer has now walked out of the forest, If you are on the road get of as fast as humanly possible!" So the boy surrendered and took the girl home. It was a long drive home but they eventually got there and as the girl went to get out she screamed. The boy looked to see what the problem was and on the door, with indication that they could have been killed, was a bloody hook, wet and stained with blood, Hanging from the car door...
There is another one but if you were scared of this one you had better not read on. This one is scary and if you get easy nightmares, you won't be able to sleep for a month. The story behind this one is that prank calls might not be prank calls.
A couple hire a teen girl to look after their kids for the night as they were going out to a banquet. She settles the kids to bed and watches some TV as in dramas and horror movie when the phone rings. All she hears is "I'm coming to get you..." Followed by heavy breathing. She decides that this is a prank call and laughs her fright off. She again settles when He rings again "I'm getting closer...It's only a matter of time.." She gets so scared by this that she calls the police, And they tell her that the likely hood of it is that its a group of teen boys messing about with her, but if he rings again keep him on the line so they can track him. The man rings again and says "I have the children, now I need you..." Again followed by heavy breathing. The police then ring her and yell "GET OUT OF THE FREAKING HOUSE, HE'S COMING DOWN THE STAIRS NOW!" So she run out of the door only to see a bloody hand scrape down the window leaving a hand print smear there. The police are there now and go to see who it is but he has vanished. They go upstairs to find the 3 triplets dead, with a bloody axe lying on the floor...
Don't worry if you've read this and freaked. This has been proved false and that any report like that the police would come over and wait for the next call. How safe is Britain! x
a story about mythical or supernatural beings or events
Spelled Wrong. It's legend.
A legend is a traditional story about some, usually marvellous and somewhat unbelievable, person or event, which is regarded as historical but which lacks any supporting evidence.
A legend is someone who cares for everyone and who does something outstanding. That's what makes a legend.

Legend - Legend Seven album - was created in 1992.
The legend says that the Aztecs were a tribe that came from the northern part of Mexico (Aztlan). One of their gods (Huitzilopochtli) told them that they should build a city in the place where they found an eagle eating a snake, on top of a cactus. The Aztecs found this sign in the Lake of Texcoco. Therefore, they built their city on the top of the lake. Nowadays, Mexico City. This symbolism is kept in the flag.
That is the correct spelling for the adverb "nowadays" (these days, at the present time).
