What happened to Tommy petillo and who will replace him?

He was replaced by a machine. When you go see the Duprees today there is a stool with a little machine placed on top. It sings to you. And, although the machine was made in China, there is an Italian flair to the design. Just amazing . . . Doowop lives forever.

When was Sam McCue of the Legends born?

Until a year or so ago, Sam Mccue was a guest artist with a Milwaukee doo-wop band named the DooWop Daddies. Prior to that, Sam , along with his two sons and two other first rate musicians, played at Club Durham in Muskego . They played many of the Legends hits, of course, as well as hits from the 50's and 60's. He also played in a blues band. Presently, I believe Sam McCue is retired and plays when the spirit moves him.I have spoken to him over the years and found him to be very friendly and possess a wealth of knowledge about music. A true Milwaukee treasure.

Why did Janet Vogel Rapp Commit Suicide?

Janet Vogel-Rapp of "The Skyliners" died at 37 on February 21, 1980 in her garage under her home from Carbon Monoxide poisoning. It was an apparent suicide. Her high notes in "Since I Don't Have You" are priceless. Janet was such a wonderful vocalist who could do so much more that hit high notes on a fade out in a song. Check out her lead vocals on the Lp's "The Skliners" (1959), "Once Upon A Time" (1972) and "The Skyliners" (1978, not same Lp as 1959 Lp).
