I'd say folk, as classical style should be pure and true to the authors intent, whereas folk style is more to be interpreted by the player.

How do you turn a regular guitar into a Spanish one is the tuning different or is it nontransferable?

A 'Spanish Guitar' is another term used to describe a 'Classical Guitar' or 'Nylon-String Guitar'. Obviously the term 'Spanish Guitar' is in part subject to what style of music the 'Nylon-String Guitar' is playing, usually flamenco or something similar. Another example of one instrument having different names in different styles would be what is known as a 'Violin' in classical music being known as a 'Fiddle' in folk music.

What is the difference between a classic guitar and an acoustic guitar?

Literally speaking, both guitars are "acoustic" but we call an "acoustic" guitar a steel string guitar because of the rougher strings that are harder to press down which creates a sharp, crisp sound used particularly for rock, blues, country, folk, and even pop music. A nylon-string or "classical" strings are much lighter, softer and easier to press down and play as their fretboards are wider and make them ideal for precisely, classical music and are used for folk music as well. There are popular in many genres such as latin, classical, salsa, tango and many others.
