As far as I'm able to determine, the first method was to film it off a kinescope tube. Some of the older Jackie Gleason Honeymooner's were kinescope'd as well as some of the earlier Twilight Zone episodes. One of the way you can tell, is in the contrast ratio of the images, in that they're more `contrasty' in appearance.
Later, that method (1956/57) was replaced with video tape and the video was transferred to be archived and used over and over and over and over and over again. Just ask the Sci-Fi channel.
First, you have to have a way for your PC to capture the Radio signal, such as a card or USB device built especially for that purpose. I have a TV Tuner card that has an FM tuner built in. With that I'm able to set up recording of TV and radio automatically. If you do a lookup on Winfast tv2000XP pro. that's the card I have.

First you have to think about what you like about the programme and why you watch it. Also why is it your favourite, how is it better than other TV programmes? You could also say who your favourite character is and why there your favourite. This should help!
