SONG OF THE RIVER BY: MARK PATTERON Can you hear the song of the river? The voice of the gentle stream? It sings as it spills and slumbers, then it flows swift and sure to the sea. My song is like the river flowing stronger as years go by. And time makes both more lovely, the river's song and mine. Can you hear the song of the river? Singing on as storm clouds roll? Though wind and rain pass over, stronger still the river flows My song is like the river running shore under stormy skys. And the rain makes both more lovely, the river's song and mine My song is like the river running shore under stormy skys. And the rain makes both more lovely, the river's song and mine the rain makes both more lovely, the river's song and mine

The Glaciers on mountains melt in summer, melted water flows from those mountains into the streams, which combines to form river. The river then flows into the sea.The vapors arise from the sea and goes into the atmosphere, which in the form of rain and snow becomes glacier. This cycle goes on and on.
Kiss the Rain was created in 1997-11.
I think you refer to the Watershed.... say rain falls on a mountain side & some of it eventually flows into the River Anything & some flows into the next valley, the River Zoobeedoobeedoo. Where the dividing line is, (Between the Anything & the Zoobeedoobeedoo) is the Watershed.
Because of all of the rivers flowing into it, it's a rain forest after all.
rain falls and flows down hill to sea level or into a river which then carries it out to sea
The source of a river is usually a spring. Rain sinks into soil or rock layers, then flows downhill until a point where it emerges, which is called a spring. The water then flows downhill on the surface as a river. Some rivers, however, source from the melting ice and snow at the tops of very tall mountains.
