Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS) is a rare but serious disorder of the skin and mucous membranes, usually triggered by a reaction to medication or infection. It manifests as a severe skin reaction with symptoms such as rash, blistering, and mucosal involvement, requiring immediate medical attention.

Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS) is primarily caused by severe reactions to medications, including anticonvulsants, antibiotics, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It can also be triggered by infections, particularly viral infections like herpes or influenza. In some cases, genetic factors may predispose individuals to this condition. SJS is characterized by the rapid onset of painful skin rashes and mucosal lesions, leading to widespread skin detachment.
Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS) and toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) are two forms of a life-threatening skin condition, in which cell death causes the epidermis to separate from the dermis. For more information check the related link.
yes u can. i had it when i was younger and all my doctors told my momma that i was gonna die. they even had nuns come talk 2 her and whatnot. its really rare and the majority of people who get it die, due to the severity of it and the fact that most doctors don't have any experience with SJS patients, once again because of it being so rare. it tends to be miss diagnosed as other non life threatening things, so many don't get the treatment they need until it's way out of hand. it's a very scary thing to go through and it's a condition that shouldn't be taken lightly. bless all the hearts of people who have.
There are many mountain ranges in California and each of them have different climates. The mountains with the highest regions will have the most snow during the winter months, while mountain ranges such as the Sierra Nevada will have wet and cool winters and the summers will be warmer and drier.
