Yes I think so. I think he does.
Meinl is generally much better than wuhan. Meinl makes more high end cymbals rather than the low end cymbals wuhan makes. Wuhan has a fairly good china for cheap though. DO NOT buy Meinl's HCS series cymbals, they are bad low end cymbals and might sound good at first but they quickly get old and sound terrible.

He uses a Meinl China. Actually, he recently started playing all Meinl cymbals, I've seen many pictures of him with Zildjian's. I also believe his entire set up is on the Meinl website. Truly, he is a great drummer. -Joe A. Chicago

One of the worst answers I'm sure but it all depends on personal preference, I've of Sabian and I really like them but I have never heard of meinl
While both cymbals are the same size and are both made from Meinl's B20 alloy, the Mb20 cymbals are heavier in weight. This added weight increases the cymbals volume, so the Mb20's are louder. The Mb20's also have more agressive hand-hammering than the Byzance line, and different lathing. I just bought a Byzance Dark China (18") and love it. It is not lathed, but heavily hammered, and has a dark finish. It's quite different than most popular China's. Previously, I have owned 12" and 18" Zildjian Oriental China Trash cymbals.
