What is the background music for pbs's the tavis smiley show?

I heard Tavis in on online interview say that he had "contracted a brutha" to write the music for the show. That's when I started seaching and got as far as this site, which seems to the best equipped for the task. I am thinking, though, that ultimately Tavis is being closed mouthed about the author for some reason. Maybe future marketing? Maybe to preserve it as a cut for an album for the bass player who wrote it? We may just have to keep tuning in to the show to hear the song for awhile longer.
