If you are looking for a starter pair similar to reading glasses this might be the best bet for you. Wal-Mart even gives a 90 trial period, 100% money back. The devices are called Simplicity Smart Touch ($394 each) and Simply Soft Smart Touch ($394 each). The Simplicity goes over the ear and the Simply Soft is a soft silicone hearing aid that goes into the ear canal (a traditional hearing aid). Check it out, worst case if they do not work for you just return them. It is always best to see an AuD (not a dealer) to make sure your hearing loss is not from a medical issue.
