What is the best way to start a punk rock band?

If you don't like rock, punk, alternative, or grunge music, don't need to read this.

If you have a friend who likes your types of (listed above) music, then talk to him. If he can play any instruments that go with the music, great! If YOU can play a similar instrument, double great!

Learn to sing and play your intruments in sync to different band covers. It will help write songs. To start a good rock band, you will need:

1. Electric Guitar

2. Bass Guitar

3. microphone (duh!)

4. drums (also duh!)

If you don't know how to play any of the listed instruments, learn them smart one! Oh yeah, and if you really want people to like your songs, write them about:

1. Love

2. Money

3. Personality

4. Cravings

5. Loss and Bringing back

That should work for you. Oh, and some other things once you have started rocking out. Don't do it just for money. Do it for fame, fun, AND money. Before you play your first concert, try recording some singles at home, or in your garage (don't try to sing songs ABOUT your garage...). Having some singles recorded will have people know the lyrics and sing along at concerts.
