This is where the symbol crosses over and is also associated with the greek god: Kronos, who is the "Titan of Time" and Zeus's father. It is Kronos's symbol because he used a sickle to castrate his father (Oranos, or the "sky") on the urgings of his mother, Gaea (mother earth). Since Kronos is also known as Saturn, and christians find any native religion offensive, christians associated Saturn with the devil and therefore Chaos. This is why people wrongly believe the "Blue Oyster cult" symbol to be "evil".
