Extra keys wp you can hit notes more clearly, and easier, and so you can hit notes you cant get in the beginner models, and the better quality instrument tends to be made out of wood, for a more richer sound, instead of plastic.
I have a Jupiter Clarinet and it's a really good clarinet. The ligature has never broken, and the quality is nice too. But I've never played a Yamaha clarinet.
the difference is the Yamaha is better
Yes they are awesome!

I don't know, but a good starter clarinet I'm sure about is a Yamaha 250...so if you haven't bought the other one, try the Yamaha maybe. But probably the best brand of clarinet is a Selmer USA.
The only difference I see is the di version includes the ac power adapter.
The timing in the CDI unit.

Yamaha is a good brand to start with.
The matter really depends on how good you are. The YCL-250 is part of the student range which is better for if you are continuing your studies from beginning. Where as the 450n is part of the intermediate range which is better when you are learning more technically difficult pieces with higher notes.
The Yamaha C100 clarinet is a clarinet made out of plastic, it is possible to tell because if the instrument doesn't have any grain on it or it doesn't have any grain on the inside of the instrument then is a plastic clarinet. The C100 is the predecessor to the YCL-250 and is an excellent choice for a beginner/intermediate and for marching band.
I have never even heard of that brand of clarinet. Ever. It must not be quality... or maybe it is just more obscure. And I have been playing for some time. Please take my advice, it will make all the difference. I would suggest a Yamaha, Armstrong, or Buffet.
