F Sharp on the Saxophone is when you have all three keys on the top of the saxophone pushed down the the middle key down at the bottom pushed down.
I dont know i am trying to figure it out myself
its like and arpeggio, for the dominant seventh in the key of g, you play the 5th note of the scale which is d then play the d major scale but in the key of g, so you play d, f sharp, a and c natural
It originated in France by Adolph Sax. The first sax was a barri. --Sax Player
I think that the sax is cooler. It's partially because I play the alto sax, but I think the sax is easier too.
The alto sax is generally not known as "an E flat sax", as a baritone saxophone is also in E flat.
Bb, A, Gb, Fsharp, and D.

Hi. I haven't got to the middle 8 yet, but a cursory tinkle at the piano suggests it goes Gmaj7 / Fsharp m7 / Em7 / Fsharp m7, then A with B in the bass. That's from the very start, 'Some sleepless night..etc" . The chorus is just a variation of those chords. Em7 / Fsharp m7 / A over B / Em7 / Em7 / Em7 with A in the bass / then: Dmaj7 / Gmaj7 / Fsharp m7 / Em7 / Fsharp m7 / A over B and back to the chorus.
There can be E natural, harmonic or melodic minor. E natural minor: E Fsharp G A B C D E. E harmonic minor: E Fsharp G A B C Dsharp E. E melodic minor: E Fsharp G A B Csharp Dsharp E Dnatural Cnatural B A G Fsharp E.
