How Great Thou Art is the English version of a Swedish hymn, O Store Gud (O Great God). It was a 19th century poem composed by the Lutheran C.G. Boberg and set to a Swedish folk tune. It was popularized in the United States by Billy Graham, an evangelical preacher. That said, the hymn is wonderful praise and adoration which is thoroughly orthodox and therefore suitable for use in Catholic hymnody.
