The main idea/meaning of the song is firstly he loves someone but saying "those three words are said too much they're not enough" reflects on how saying I love you can't describe even how much he truly loves them. After that part it's saying that he wants that person to be with him and escape this world made by society and just go to their own world that exists for themselves. Also saying "show me a garden that's bursting into life" meaning to show him a life that's full of love and that grows into something beautiful and unique just like flowers. The chorus is asking if the person will be with him forever. Also later on near the ending before the last chorus it means that even though he doesn't know what's going to happen he knows that his love for them will never change.
