I've always seen it as a song reflecting street life with some crime and 'selling one's body' themes as well. "on top of the chain and safe from the rain, whatcha know about the ways of the underside (what do you know?)" was the first line that kind of brought me to this conclusion. The line "ante up with your a** cuz you aint got a penny" puts out a similar vibe as well as "our turn to decide who lives and who dies"

that's just my interpretation though... its a great song overall, and i LOVE milla's voice in this one.. anyways, yeah, those just my thoughts...
