You're probably referring to "Zou Bisou Bisou" or "Zoo Be Zoo Be Zoo". It's been sung by several people, most recently on the TV Show "Mad Men" by Megan Draper (Jessica Pare), but before that by Sophia Loren, Gillian Hill, Kersten Dahl, and The Pennies. If it was in English, it was most likely the Loren version you heard. Gillian Hill and Jessica Pare did it in French.
